🏙️ Austrian 777 Business Class Review

On February 23 2022, I flew Business Class with Emirates in a Boeing 777-300ER from Brussels (BRU) to Dubai (DXB). Flying the Emirates Boeing 777-300ER is a vastly different experience as compared to the airlines’ flagship Airbus A380, since the Dubai based carrier has installed a different Business Class product & seat on both aircraft types. Arrive: 7:45AM (+1 day) Duration: 7hr15min. Aircraft: Boeing 787-10. Seat: 9L (Polaris Business Class) I boarded through the second set of doors, and the first thing I noticed was just how massive the space between doors one and two is on the 787-10. The Polaris cabin consisted of 44 seats, all between doors one and two. First Class passengers departing the same day on an international flight operated by a Star Alliance member airline (+1 guest and children under the age of 18.) Austrian Airlines’ Business Class seats on the 777-200 are arranged in a 1-2-1 and 2-2-1 configuration, similar to SWISS Business Class. However, the seats on Austrian Airlines are more comfortable and offer sufficient storage space to pack your belongings, though the storage is not generous. Traveling in American Airlines's business class on their Boeing 777-200 ER V.1 is synonymous with luxury. Catering to 37 passengers, the experience includes spacious seating, gourmet dining, and top-tier in-flight entertainment. The crew, with their meticulous attention to detail, ensures every passenger's needs are met with precision. Lufthansa clearly understands it needs to up its game in business class – eventually. For years, the airline has had a brand new business class seat with direct-aisle access for all in the works, destined for new deliveries of the Boeing 777-9. But that jet has been plagued by delays and might not see the skies for at least another year or two. ANA's 777-300ERs with the new first- and business-class suites are configured in an interesting way, with the business-class cabin split into three separate sections. Moving from the front of the plane to the back, there is a small, first-class cabin with two rows of The Suite configured in a 1-2-1 arrangement for a total of just eight seats. Plus, business-class award availability was limited for the dates I needed to travel. So, TPG booked me a round-trip business class ticket in Qatar Qsuites for $3,483. Although this was an expensive ticket, flying just one way from Malé to New York JFK via Doha earned me 13,139 elite-qualifying miles , 1,752 elite-qualifying dollars and 19,270 Blocked seat. The 787-9 business class cabin is arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration with comfortable reverse herringbone seats. The cabin features 30 seats in a single business class cabin. Each seat has 80 inches of pitch and is 21 inches wide. The suite had a few storage areas including under the footwell, in a small side dish (for lack of a better word), in .
