Yaris has more mpg and where I’m from Corolla is a bit overpriced. Maybe once May hits all the prices will start to fall. If prices for Corolla is at a decent price and low mileage I’d say Corolla for sure. But they still charging 24k+ on a 2020 Corolla I would go with the Toyota Yaris for sure. The Yaris is great. It's peppy as hell! 1st gear in that thing is like a rocket. THe YAris will zoom to 35mph so, quick it blew my mind. zoominess drops off as you go up in gears and it's pretty anemic at highway speeds but for a city car you'll be zipping & zooming all over the place. The 2006 drop in power was due to new testing standards, and not a change in the engine's actual performance. My ‘rents bought it in 2003 and have really looked after it mechanically, so I know it’s reliable. However, I just started a new job and I am feeling better about myself and am interested in
